In addition to the many other
services and benefits offered by the Savannah Area
Chapter of the Appraisal Institute, we also provide a
data service known as the Daily Record.
Subscribers to this service receive by e-mail
weekly summaries of deed transactions in Chatham County
along with monthly summaries for Bryan and Effingham
Counties. Some
of the pertinent data included in each summary is
grantor, grantee, deed book and page, sale price,
location, and other valuable details regarding transfers
of real estate.
This information is primarily
generated for appraisers to use as a base to search for
and help verify comparable sales; however, other real
estate professionals may also find this service useful
to help identify sales and follow market activity.
There is no better source in the Savannah
Metropolitan Area to research and track real estate
sales.
The summary reports are sent in a
".pdf" format, which can be opened and
read on any computer with a current version of the Adobe
Acrobat Reader. If you do not already have Acrobat
Reader, you can download a copy for free by clicking on
the logo below.

If you have a copy of Adobe Acrobat
Reader, click
here for a
sample copy of the .pdf file for Chatham County.
Subscribers to this service also
receive a cumulative spreadsheet in Excel format.
This spreadsheet provides the same data as that
found in the .pdf format, but it may easily be searched
using the Excel program.
This data may also be imported into various other
software programs to aid in cataloging sales by type,
location, price, data of sale, or other pertinent
variables. If
you have Excel on your computer, you can view a sample
by clicking
here.
Subscriptions to the Daily Record
are available to both members and nonmembers of the
Savannah Area Chapter of the Appraisal Institute at a
quarterly rate of $225.
